Thank you for choosing to use PDF Master (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
Our app is designed with a strong focus on privacy. Most operations occur entirely on your local device.
The App requires access to your device’s camera and photo gallery to capture images and convert them into PDF documents. The images and the resulting PDFs are processed and stored locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or view your personal documents on any external servers.
All generated and edited PDF files are saved directly to your device’s local storage. We have no access to these files.
If you enable the “App Lock” feature, the App uses your device’s native biometric authentication (fingerprint or face recognition) to secure access. Your biometric data never leaves your device and is handled entirely by your device’s operating system. We do not collect or store this data.
The App includes an AI-powered chat feature that allows you to summarize and ask questions about your PDF documents. When you use this feature, the text extracted from the document and your chat messages are sent securely to the OpenAI API to generate responses.
We may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you, provide analytics, or display advertisements (in the free version of the App). (Note: As the App is currently ad-free, no third-party ad SDKs are actively collecting data. This section will apply once ad networks are integrated.)
We value your trust in providing us with your personal information, and we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
